Each year, the AOCS Foundation undertakes the initiative of cultivating donors and raising funds to assist AOCS in providing up-to-the-minute products and services to meet the increasing needs of its members and constituents. This partnership is successful because of generous donors and supporters.

Notable accomplishments in 2011 included:
• Information Exchange of the latest news through inform SmartBrief.
• Cultivation of the Next Generation by continuing to provide funding for Honored Students to present their research at each AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo.

(Donations to the AOCS Foundation are never used to off set the operating expenses of AOCS.)
